WELCOME TO OUR SECOND ANNUAL WORLD MISSIONS CONFERENCE AT LAKESIDE! The world population is rapidly approaching 7 billion, and every hour 6,390 people step out into eternity. What really matters in this life is responding to the gospel of Jesus Christ. May we determine more than ever to passionately spread the gospel by praying, giving, and going, both locally and globally. I want you to know our missionaries, feel their burden, view their pictures, and hear their testimonies. May we partner with them so that all the earth may know. Tad Marshall, Pastor |

David & Julie Rudolph |
After more than twenty years of church planting and leadership development Dave, Julie, and their large team in Cape Town, South Africa, moved 5 hours east to the Garden Route in May 2009. In addition to church planting, the Rudolphs are actively involved in several “helps ministries,” mainly in poor communities, which provide relationship-building bridges for evangelism. One such ministry has culminated in a new church plant under the leadership of a national pastor who is now being trained. |

David & Jenny Harris |
David and Jenny arrived in Osaka, Japan in August of 1988. In January of 1995, while preparing to return to Japan after a short furlough, there was an earthquake in Osaka. The city looked like a war zone when they returned, and they had difficulty locating a place to stay. Another missionary asked David to pray about going with them to plant a church in northern Japan, and God flooded his heart with peace that they should go. David and Jenny have four children, and currently serve in Aomori, Japan. |

Marjorie Tatter |
Marjorie Tatter surrendered her life to serve Jesus Christ at a young age. After moving to Macon, Georgia to teach elementary school, she realized that God wanted her to surrender to missionary service, and she did. The next year the Lord showed her that He wanted her to serve in Chad, Africa. Most of her twenty-nine years in Chad she has trained Sunday school teachers how to teach. Initially she worked with only one church, but now over 250 Baptist churches in Chad call her the “mother of the children’s Sunday School ministry in Chad.” |

James & Ruth Turpin |
Natives of Canada, James and Ruth Turpin started on deputation in 1972. They have served the Lord in Norway since 1975. They are church planters, and are currently serving in Stavenger, which is known as Norway’s most international city. There are twelve different nationalities attending their church. They also provide transportation to church for some people from a nearby refugee camp. The Turpins speak fluent Norwegian. Due to the variety of nationalities, however, they primarily speak English in the church. |
